When GC Home Services was founded in 2005, our founder/president, Dan Lickert, had a mission: to do things differently as a trusted heating and cooling company.
That mission and vision—to be great at what we do, but also make great contributions to our community—still stand today thanks to our core values and commitments. Those commitments include great customer service; quality solutions and products; innovation; continual learning; and long-lasting, prosperous relationships with our customers.
Based in Newport, Kentucky, we’ve served more than 45,000 customers in the last 15 years. Today, our residential heating and cooling team serves Kentucky, Southwest Ohio, and Southeastern Indiana. Our commercial heating and cooling team serves Kentucky, Ohio, Indiana and Tennessee.
We’re a growing team of HVAC technicians that believe in doing right by each other, our customers, and the communities we serve. We’re passionate about providing you and your family with high quality, reliable and innovative care. That’s why you’ll often hear us say, “Your comfort is our promise”—because it is.
Meet the GC Home Services Team
Founded the team in 2005, by utilizing the strengths learned along my professional journey, I believe the comradery, compassion and “old” school style that my peers instilled in me show through our efforts to this day. To provide a fun, safe nourishing company whose product rivals the ”get it quick strategy” we encounter today. I love my family both at home and at work. Always striving to ensure we leave everything we encounter better than it was found, people first. My weekends are spent with family at soccer, basketball, traveling in the tristate area or projects at the family farm.
Dan Lickert

Pat started his HVAC career in 1983 and has worked his way through the ranks. Starting as an apprentice he worked to achieve his master journeyman overseeing million-dollar projects to be promoted to Vice President of Commercial Development. Dan and Pat started working in the field together in 1997 and evolved their careers with the growing industry. Pat is passionate about life and those in his life. He has never known a stranger and is always willing to help no matter the task.

Jennifer joined our team in October of 2018 to help bring our Kentucky service expectations in line for future growth, since then she has assisted with numerous subtle changes to streamline our processes and procedures. As a result she has been elevated to the Vice President of Operations and will continue to oversee day to day management as our growth continues in outlying markets. She enjoys sports, loves animals and is an authority on Marvel comics!
